To support the pressure sensitive industry and its evolving digital technologies, Acucote has expanded its line of UV inkjet solutions. Acucote worked closely with leading OEM printers to qualify media for the UV inkjet product line.

“OEM pre-approval is at the foundation of our UV inkjet product development process,” says Melissa Walsh, product manager, digital media at Acucote. “We are looking forward to continuing our work with OEMs as this product line expands. We expect additional polypropylenes, tamper evident solutions and new instant redeemable coupon options to be available in May.”

Stocked UV inkjet solutions include polypropylenes, polyesters, vinyls, semi gloss, high gloss, boardstocks, metalized paper and foils. Proprietary to Acucote are the singly-ply, instant redeemable coupons for UV inkjet printers: 60# UV Semi Gloss Diamond-Cote SP and IRComplete. These single-web constructions are built with a geometric-designed release system to support any diecut shape and provide UV inkjet printers the capability to offer both single and two-sided coupons.

Acucote offers 2-day lead times on UV inkjet facestocks paired with permanents, removables and blockouts. Items are available No Trim (3” x 2,500’ minimum) or by master width x 2,500’. Custom adhesive and liner combinations are also available.

All UV inkjet products are flexo compatible for retro print systems.
